Bein' as how society seems to have become obsessed with lawsuits, we figure we gotta put some explanations up here about havin' scans of album covers, and lyrics to songs, and the like on this website.
All the copyrights, reserved rights, and whatever a little "P" in a circle means, are of course the property of the folks who designed, photographed, wrote, and otherwise made them in the first place. Now we haven't gotten official permission to use this stuff, but since we ain't makin' a dime off this (you don't wanna know what keepin' this site up costs us!) and since we present the material as a tribute to those who created it, and since trackin' down anyone to get try and get permission from seemed darn near impossible, we figured that no one will mind enough to toss us in the pokey. We ain't tryin' to steal, take credit for, or make any money off of anyone else's work, just celebrate it. Now if you in fact are the owner of somethin' you see here, and you just really don't want us to have it appearing on these pages, let us know, and we'll either work out somethin' with ya, or, if we have to, remove it. And all the original material in these pages, both graphics and text, which were created by Miles Lumbard, Jerry Clark, and Mark Evans, belongs to us. Now we don't mind if someone else uses the material (kinda' be the pot callin' the kettle black if we did) so long as they acknowledge where they got it from, just like we did. |
