This image shows the first train into Ridgway! It took a few sessions to finally get the grade evened out on the helix. The grade is approximately 2.25%. When one factors in the curved track I am told it is more like 2.75%. I can pull a 6 car train up the Helix with a PBL C-18. My PBL K-27 will pull 10 cars up the Helix (and any stumps that may need to be removed in the backyard).
