I used 3rd-Planit CAD software to design my Helix. This software was invaluable in both designing and building the Helix. I found it very easy to design the Helix with 3PI. I was also able to visualize what the Helix would look like. When the Helix was complete, I found the top level of track came out exactly where it should have. Nothing like having a good plan!
