The following slides describe how I mounted the new Kadee under track, electric un-coupler. This slide shows how to mark out a spot to cut the hole for installation. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET TOO CLOSE TO A CURVED SECTION OF TRACK WORK! The cars need to be on a straight section of track for the un-coupler to work. Ignore this warning and you can tear everything out and start over like I did. The track work is being installed on a normal plywood base with 0.125” homabed and wood ties.
