This is a sample section of hand-laid track work with weathering applied. I used a combination of potions to achieve this effect. I started with a mixture of India ink and lacquer thinner to get the basic gray color. I thin mixed various shades of chalks in lacquer thinner to complete the effect. I used PBL's neo-lube to paint the sides of the rail.
