I used acrylic craft paints on my model ala Tom Troughton. I altered Tom's formula for Depot buff to suit my layout room lighting. The shingles are from the Raggs kit. I painted them with the darker brown mix of acrylics. I used a couple of colors of pastel pencils to weather the roof. I blended the pastels and then gave the roof a shot of dullcote.
