These test panels were prepared form Evergreen Styrene car siding. The panels where painted with Tamiya surface primer and then given a coat of Star Brand “faded freight car red” paint. When the paint dried the decals where applied. The decals are sealed with Star Brand “clear flat” paint. The flat paint is allowed to dry and the I lightly go over the panel with a fiber glass eraser. This step prevents the water used with the water color pigments from beading up.
