The box art on this kit indicated it would contain gold plated parts. That was not the case. I did like the look of the gold plating so sought a way to color the chrome myself. I found a water based product at Robert’s Crafts for doing gold leafing. I was able to spray this product on with my airbrush. It isn’t as nice as the gold plating would have been. Over all this kit was a POS.
